Welcome to Romano's
world of Martial Arts. Let me tell you a little
myself. My interest in the martial arts started
when I was a child. My martial arts hero was and
still is Bruce
Lee. I wanted to be Bruce
Lee. I had never seen a Bruce Lee Movie, but I
did see the previews. I read everything I could
find with Bruce Lee's picture on it, actual I
just looked at the pictures. Kung Fu and Karate
was my world. I started my
martial arts training at the age of 9 with JUDO.
Because I didn't understand the Martial Arts or
knew what the martial arts were really about, I
didn't like JUDO.
I want to kick and punch like Bruce Lee.
The first day, my Judo Instructor
said, "..the first thing we are going to
teach you is how to fall." My friend, who
was taking judo with me said, "I already
know how to fall I want to learn how to keep from
falling." This was my first sign of lack of
discipline - bringing an undisciplined friend
with me.
I finished the introductory program.
Because of my lack of discipline, I dropped out.
I did learn one thing in my JUDO training, I
learned how to fall.
